The New Play Festival (NPF) is an initiative of the Playwrights Workshop Trinbago (PWT) dedicated to providing a platform for new and indigenous plays in Trinidad and Tobago. It aims to foster the development of original storytelling through drama and playmaking, and to provide opportunities for new plays to be performed for personal and collective development. The festival is a collaborative effort involving playwrights, directors, actors, and other theatre practitioners who come together to support the new generation of theatre artists.
